Short-listed for Professional Photographer of The Year 2012

I had some great news last month. A photo that I entered into the Professional Photographer of The Year 2012 competition has been short-listed! I can’t really say more than that at the moment, as the results are going to be announced near the end of the month. I’ve been invited to an awards evening for the finalists, as you imagine I’m pretty ecstatic with the news and have my fingers crossed for the awards night.

It’s an award held in high prestige, run by Professional Photographer magazine which is published by Archant Specialist.

Many years ago I came runner-up in their sister publication Photography Monthly’s “UK’s Best Photographer” competition run in conjunction with Nikon UK. Here’s hoping I can repeat my successes on this higher platform with the Professional Photographer of The Year awards.
