Hampshire Wedding Photography for Robert and Amber
East Horton Golf Club
British Summer weather was in full effect for my first time at East Horton Golf Club for a day of Hampshire wedding photography. We experienced everything from the heaviest downpours to the gorgeous warm summers glow of the sunset. The venue offers great variety for wedding photographers and of course the couple getting married, we even got to use the golf buggies to get around from place to place!
Wedding Preparations
Robert was getting ready at the nearby Marwell Hotel, a quite unique and busy place with long windowed corridors surrounded by forestation. I loved the rustic ring box they had chosen, it suited them down to the ground.
Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place at East Horton Golf Club in the wonderful Greenwood Room. Light and airy with plenty of natural light and exposed beams. Amber’s father was absolutely beaming with pride throughout.
The Wedding Photos
After a day of off and on rain, we struck lucky just after the ceremony and got a dry spell. Making the most of it, we headed out quickly in the golf buggies although it wasn’t long before the heavens opened once again. Robert and Amber didn’t mind though, embracing the rain for a few more photos with an umbrella!

Sunset
We got really lucky again with the weather right during golden hour! After a lot of famous British cloud during the day, the sun made itself known during the best part of the day in the lead up to sunset. The succulent gold light really opened up some options for some different photos and Robert and Amber were happy to take a little wander to make the most of it.
Evening Reception, First Dance and Cake Cutting
Returning to the party, Robert and Amber had some business to take care of before kicking off the evening in the form of cutting the cake. The gorgeous cake was hand made by the mother of the groom and went down a treat with guests.
